SK8FACE is a feature documentary about the history and evolution of skateboard art and culture. It’s a 70-year journey tracing how a plank of wood with roller skate wheels became a canvas for some of the most impactful visual art of our time, art that now hangs in galleries and museums around the world.

Skateboard graphics were the first artworks that truly resonated with me. They weren’t static or confined. They were bold, raw images that reflected an underground culture, relentlessly creative, rebellious and constantly evolving with each new generation.  Their work has inspired generations of creative minds, both within and far beyond the skateboarding community. SK8FACE is a tribute to that legacy. It’s about honoring the artists and showing how the graphics on these iconic boards sparked a visual revolution that still echoes today.
